SUPERSUIT
MARK V
An exosuit outfitted with dual full-auto airguns inspired by the movie Live, Die, Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow.
Tom Cruise's Exosuit from Live, Die, Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow
After watching Tom Cruise battle aliens during the summer of 2021, I wondered what it would be like to have an exosuit like his. Of course I was not going to be able to mount real machine guns on both of my arms, so I compromised by yet again harnessing the power of compressed air. I used the same bearing gun system as in Mark IV, but this time I increased the firepower by mounting one on each arm of a spring powered exosuit, upgrading the rate of fire to 500 rpm, and giving each a 50 bearing capacity. The suit is designed to mount onto the back of a vest and consists of two arms held up by large springs. It is composed of aluminum and steel. The springs make it easier to hold the arms and allow the arms to "float" when not in use. A paintball tank regulated down to 500 psi supplies air to each arm via high pressure pneumatic tubing. Like Tom Cruise's suit, a 3D printed grip with a trigger is held in each hand so that both arms may be fired simultaneously. It may not be nearly as effective as the real thing, but Mark V sure is a blast to operate.

Mark V uses the same air-powered bearing gun system with pneumatic reload as Mark IV, but this time there is one on each arm. The system explanation can be found under Mark IV.
